Great Habits > Great Programmer

Kent Beck, creator of XP and an early proponent of Agile, has said, “I’m not a great programmer; I’m just a good programmer with great habits.”

Do you relate to this take? Do you have any great habits of your own when programming? Do you have some bad habits that you have picked up along the way or see some in other programmers?

Everyone and anyone are welcome to join as long as you are kind, supportive, and respectful of others.

Year in Review

This is our last meeting of the year. Looking back, what are your highlights? Disappointments? Did you jump into the AI pool? Learn a new tool, framework, or language? In your work, what was most annoying? What got in your way? What gave you the biggest boost in productivity? What was the most fun? Did you get a promotion? Did you change roles?

Everyone and anyone are welcome to join as long as you are kind, supportive, and respectful of others. Zoom link will be posted at 12pm MDT.

Mob Hacking Advent of Cyber

Today's (Dec 23rd, 2025) chat will be some pair hacking on Try Hack Me's Advent of Cyber. I will go through getting the key for side quest 1. Selfishly, I need the final step, I think, to get the key for side quest one, and I'm hoping others can help me.
