Are these tools primarily for improving productivity, enhancing communication, or maintaining sanity? Or do you prefer more traditional methods like pen and paper?

Priorities

There's an old saying: “Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick Any Two.” In any work we do, priorities shape the outcome. What priorities guide you? Are you balancing quick results over technical debt? Features over performance? How do you strike a balance between these? Here's a list (unordered 😊), what would you modify? What drives your priorities?

  • UX/UI Design
  • Maintainability
  • Quick Results (Speed to Market)
  • Performance
  • Security
  • Cost Efficiency
  • Feature Completeness
  • Team Productivity (Developer Experience)
  • Innovation and Experimentation
  • Reliability and Stability

Experiment with GitHub Copilot Workspace

In this Weekly Dev Chat (March 25/2025) we will experiment with GitHub Copliot Workspace. It's a feature that lets you create PRs using GitHub Copilot that will create new files, edit eixisting files, and the like. I'll share my screen and we can do some ~~pair programming~~ pair telling the AI what do.

Everyone and anyone are welcome to join as long as you are kind, supportive, and respectful of others.
